Our client was founded in 1991 by a network of foundations with the express purpose of serving the investment needs of the non-profit community. They serve the non-profit community exclusively by offering a series of core and specialized strategies through their own Advisory Services, a regulated advisory firm that operates as a not-for-profit.
The client retained us to identify a Software Architect. The Software Architect was a created position to work closely with the investment and technology teams to develop and integrate solutions to assist in the management and analysis of a multi-asset class portfolio.
Our challenge was to find a senior individual contributor who is a master of software development technologies, databases and process, but also is able to work independently, with minimal supervision, in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and work on multiple concurrent cross-functional projects.
Offer accepted 75 days later but individual from a similar investment firm in Boston.
